June 3 to 14, 2992? Maida Withers Dance Construction Company participated with 100 Artists for Ecology at the United Nations Earth Summit (Eco ’92) with performances of Dance for the Earth “Transformation” with Brazilian and MWDCCo dancers, a performance in the Museum of Art Moderna Rock Garden, and several performances in Sugarload Mountain with other artists from around the globe.
Celebration Artists, including four members of MWDCCo, spent two weeks in Brasilia and, maybe, 10 days in Rio de Janeiro.
This documentary film was created as an assemblage by an artist from Canada.
Marilyn Wood, Celebration Organization, was responsible for MWDCCo participation in the beach and site performances.
